John is a 30-year-old male who is overweight and smokes. He has been diagnosed with hypertension and arteriosclerosis.
Apply your knowledge of anatomy and physiology by addressing the topics on the grading rubric.. Include names of tissues/organs/systems involved and explain the associated physiological processes. Read each criterion on the grading rubric carefully and address all aspects of the criterion.
You can write this in narrative form or simply number and answer the questions individually. If you write in narrative form, separate the criteria by paragraphs. Your textbook has good information but also use 3 sources other than your textbook as specified in the grading rubric. Provide full citations for sources other than your textbook using either MLA or APA format.
Full citations should be listed separately at the end of the paper. When you quote directly from a source, put the quote in quotation marks and follow the quote with a short reference, for example, (Smith, 2024). Then list the full citation at the end of the paper.
This also applies if you are not quoting directly word for word but summarizing very closely to a source. Use a lot of in text references to your sources if needed. (Makes it easier to follow up on your use of sources and originality.
