Instructions: 

You are responsible for creating a Patrol Guide for Billy Bishop Airport that will be used by all new and existing Security Professionals. This is not a basic document. It must be clear, visual, and usable during real patrols.

Objective

Create a visual patrol reference guide that allows guards to:

Quickly identify each patrol checkpoint (“tag”)

Understand exactly what to check at each location Know what actions to take if something is wrong

Deliverables (Mandatory)

You must complete the following:

1. Tag Inventory

• Identify ALL patrol tags currently in use

• Assign each tag a clear ID (e.g., BB-01, BB-02)

• Group tags into zones (Terminal, Restricted, Exterior, etc.)

2. Photo Collection (Critical)

For EVERY tag, you must take:

• 1 clear photo showing the tag location

• Photo must include surrounding landmarks (not just the tag)

Photo requirements:

• Bright, clear, not blurry

• Taken from the perspective of a guard approaching the tag

• Updated (no outdated or blocked views)

3. Tag Description (For Each Tag)

Each tag entry must include:

• Tag ID

• Location Name

• Exact directions on how to find it

• What to check (security + safety)

• Common issues found at that location

• Required actions if an issue is found

4. Patrol Zones

Divide all tags into logical patrol zones

Example:

• CRG Tour - Island Exterior Patrol (GATES & PARKING) Patrol.

• CRG Tour - Terminal (BUSINESS HOURS) Patrol.

• CRG Tour - Tunnel & Mainland Patrol.

5. Reporting Instructions

Include a section explaining:

• How guards report issues

• What details must be included (location, issue, actions)

• When to escalate

Quality Standards (Non-Negotiable)

Your work will be rejected if:

• Photos are unclear, dark, or confusing

• Locations are vague or hard to find

• Descriptions are generic (e.g., “check area” is not acceptable)

• Tags are missing or incomplete

This guide must allow a *new hire to complete a patrol without asking questions**.

Organize the guide cleanly and professionally Each tag should follow the SAME structure Use headings and consistent layout

Final Expectation

This is an operational document.

It must be: Practical Clear under pressure Easy to follow during a live patrol If a new guard cannot use this guide independently, it is not acceptable.
