This is the final assignment for the course. Now is the time to advocate for change based on your policy analysis! For this assignment, you will create a presentation of the social justice issue and the corresponding social policy you selected in the previous assignments, communicating its importance and impact to a group of stakeholders to secure additional support and funding to benefit the identified subgroup or population. You will present your conclusions and recommendations for change with a corresponding plan. This assignment will assess your ability to engage with social policies, analyze social justice issues and utilize communication skills to advocate for change and support.

Assignment Instructions
During the course you have addressed a social justice issue, selected a social policy that addresses this issue for analysis in order to assist a community or subgroup. Now it is time to create a presentation to relevant stakeholders to secure additional support and funding to benefit the identified subgroup or population and advocate for change. You will have an opportunity to provide your conclusions and recommendations for change as well as reflect on your experience in engaging with social policy as a social worker. This assignment will assess your ability to engage with social policies, analyze social justice issues, and utilize communication skills to advocate for change and support.
Develop a Power Point presentation that addresses the following:
- Introduction (1 slide)
- Identify the social justice issue.
- Title of the social policy.
- Your name, course, sate.
- Overview of the Social Justice Issue (1 slide)
- Define the social justice issue targeted by the selected social policy.
- Consider how differences and diversity intersect to shape life experiences (cultural values, privilege, and power).
- Illustrate the scope and impact of the social justice issue.
- Importance of Addressing the Issue (1–2 slides)
- Explain why addressing the issue is critical for the well-being of the identified subgroup or population.
- Discuss alignment with social work ethical principles and values.
- Address factors related to anti-racism, diversity, inclusion, and equity.
- Address the social work principles of dignity, autonomy, and respect for human rights.

- Provide an overview of the current social policy (goals and objectives).
- Explain the historical events and perspectives that led to the development of the policy.

- Length of presentation: 10–14 slides as a guide.
- Font and font size: Times New Roman, 12 point.
- Presentation format: Review the information about multimedia presentations in the Tools and Resources section.. Consider the use of images, photos, graphs and alternative methods of visual information. You can also include speaker’s notes.
- Due date: Assignment must be submitted to your instructor in the courseroom no later than Sunday 11:59 p.m. CST this week.
